This is an extremely rare piece and with the amazing work that Creative Director Alessandro Michele is doing with the house these days and his references to the past, it looks like it could be from the most current runway. The clothing from Gucci of the 1970s is among my favorites to find. They had a real sexy, hippie feel to them and were meant to be worn by the jet setting beautiful people of the day. The suede and leather pieces were all limited production pieces so are the rare and harder to find. This is an exceptional little top. It is made from a butter soft buckskin on a shade that is just off of white. It is sleeveless and zips up one side so that you can get it one and off. Once on it molds to the body. The front plnges extremely deep and to hold it in place is a classic buckle strap. Once on its sexy as hell and a very versatile piece. Excellent condition.
Unlined and closes with a side metal zipper and buckles at the front. Tagged a vintage Gucci 42. In clean as found condition, it has a very slight patina from normal usage and age with a slight grubbiness here and there but no true flaws other then natural patina.
