⭐Akoya is the smallest sea oyster that is used to produce pearls.

⭐It can be one or two pearls that grow for 18 months to two years—the longer the growth period, the better, as this allows pearls to acquire thicker pearl layers.

⭐There are no large pearls of Akoya. Their maximum size is 10 mm.
