How heavy are the bladder insulators?
The Bladder Insulators weigh 3 Ounces to 5 Ounces depending on the size.

Do the bladder insulators fit tightly around the bladder?
Yes. Typically you loose a little height and width and gain in depth when the bladder is filled. Customer feedbacks have suggested a "snug fit" for better insulation and to help keep pressure against the bladder as water is depleted.
